Google Adwords, SEO, Blogging, Writing Articles, Chatting On Forums, Link Campaigns, Live Chat Contacts, Emails, Phone Calls, Sig Files, Meetings, Promotions, Giveaways, Free This and Free That. Whaaaaaaa! Have I missed anything? Probably. So what is the point of all these techniques? Traffic. Beautiful continuous abundant traffic. Traffic = exposure = buyers = sales = money.
Everyone wants to build their golden opt in list full of lucrative prospects that will generate them a small fortune. The internet has millions of people online every day wanting to spend truck loads of cash from everything from affiliate marketing to new shoes. The hard part is not getting them to pay; it is finding them in cyberspace. Entire companies are created and driven to simply teach or generate traffic for their clients.
I am going to share my two cents when generating traffic for your business. Are you ready? Here we go. Do not concern yourself with the how's and the why's, the never ending email/phone follow ups and any other self motivated scrutiny. The one thing that that will set you apart from being rich to being poor is traffic. It is a numbers game plain and simple.
Here is a little example. I originally hail from Vancouver, Canada and hockey is obviously my game of choice. The Vancouver Canucks hockey team and I have a love/hate relationship. Mainly because they are full of so much promise throughout the entire season but come playoff time they are ready for golf. My point is that when the Canucks are trying to score they parade around and procrastinate to shoot the perfect goal when what they need to do is shoot it at the net as much as possible. It is a numbers game the more times you shoot, the more times you score. It is the exact same thing with business online or offline; it does not make a difference. The more people you contact the more you will score and that is in essence what you are trying to do in the first place, market your business to make money.
